Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and deliver branded materials, including clothing, accessories, and promotional items, for the Office of Group Forensic and Investigation Services (GFIS) to support anti-corruption campaigns. The initiative aims to promote good governance, raise awareness, and foster active citizen participation in anti-corruption efforts through the distribution of branded goods that symbolize the campaign's message.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various branded items as specified in the technical requirements, including:

• T-shirts in multiple sizes with embroidered logos
• Branded jackets with reflective features and customization
• Caps and bucket hats with embroidery
• Outdoor branding items such as gazebo print, tablecloths, and folding chairs
• Promotional items like table covers and signage

The service provider must supply all items in accordance with the specifications, including color, size, quantity, and branding requirements, and ensure timely delivery to the designated location.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Branded clothing items (T-shirts, jackets, caps, bucket hats) with specific embroidery and print requirements
• Use of approved technical standards (e.g., SABS SATS 1286:2011 for local content)
• High visibility and reflective features for jackets
• Outdoor branding materials with sublimation printing and screen printing
• Durable and high-quality materials suitable for outdoor and campaign use
• Samples must be provided upon request from shortlisted suppliers

All items must meet the stipulated minimum local content threshold of 100% for clothing and related promotional materials, with compliance verified through declared certificates and supporting documentation.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proficiency in manufacturing and branding of promotional apparel and accessories
• Experience in producing high-quality branded promotional and outdoor branding materials
• Capability to supply customized embroidery, screen printing, and sublimation printing
• Ability to provide samples for approval from shortlisted suppliers
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including occupational health and safety requirements
• Efficient logistics and delivery management to meet specified timelines
• Compliance with local content and BBBEE requirements, supported by valid certificates and declarations
