The primary objective of this tender is to procure a calibrated horse weighing scale for use in the NHLS Sandringham Campus stables. The scale aims to accurately determine the body weight of horses involved in plasma production to ensure appropriate feeding, monitor health, regulate plasma collection volumes, and meet IDEXX testing and quality assurance standards. Accurate weight measurement is essential for animal welfare, production efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of a mobile, durable, and easy-to-clean digital horse weighing scale with specific technical specifications. The scale must be capable of withstanding stable conditions, support digital data logging, and include calibration and maintenance services for three years. The procurement covers the entire process from product specification, delivery, to post-sale calibration and maintenance programs.
