Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint three (03) service providers to render hospitality services at Peter Mokaba Stadium Complex for a period of three (3) years. The successful bidders will be responsible for providing catering, beverages, décor, furniture, and related hospitality services during events at the stadium, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of hospitality services at Peter Mokaba Stadium Complex for three (3) years.
• Preparation and delivery of various menus, including snacks, finger lunches, buffets, halal, vegetarian, desserts, and starters.
• Provision of beverages such as water, juices, beers, ciders, wines, spirits, mixers, and cognacs.
• Provision of décor, furniture (couches, chairs, tables, ornaments, fairy lights), and catering utensils.
• Provision of hostesses and staff for event support.
• Provision of services at events held within the stadium, including catering for a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 500 guests.
• Additional services such as décor, furniture setup, and catering for related stadium facilities like Seshego Stadium.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHSA) regulations.
• Provision of equipment and utensils for catering, meeting health and safety standards.
• Proper licensing and accreditation with Community Health Services, including submission of a valid COA.
• Capacity to cater for events with varying guest numbers, with a detailed master plan for each event.
• Availability of sufficient resources, personnel, and transport to deliver services efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to flexible catering times.
• Provision of a variety of menus and beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
• Provision of décor, furniture, and catering utensils as specified.
• Adherence to safety standards, including PPE for staff and proper handling of equipment.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from service providers include:

• Experience in providing hospitality services for large events and stadium functions.
• Proven track record with references and previous similar projects.
• Qualified and trained staff, including waiters, hostesses, and catering personnel.
• Capacity to manage logistics, including transport, setup, and service delivery.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards, food handling, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to prepare and serve a diverse menu, including special dietary requirements.
• Capability to provide décor, furniture, and equipment setup as per specifications.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills to ensure high-quality service during events.
