Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite qualified service providers to submit bids for various infrastructure upgrading projects and related services within Molemole Local Municipality. The projects aim to improve internal streets, stormwater control, tennis courts, sports facilities, and security services, ensuring enhanced community infrastructure and safety.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Upgrading of 1.5 km of internal streets and grading of stormwater control at Sefene.
• Upgrading of gravel roads to surfaced roads from Vuka to Madiehe, including grading.
• Design and construction of a new tennis court at Morebeng, including grading and surfacing.
• Upgrading of Mogwadi Sports Facility (Phase 2), including tennis court construction.
• Provision of security services for a period of six months.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that bidders must:

• Possess a CIDB grading of at least 6CE or higher, depending on the project.
• Meet the minimum qualifying score of 80% for evaluation.
• Attend the compulsory briefing sessions scheduled for each project.
• Submit bids in accordance with the specified evaluation criteria, which include functionality and preference points system (80/20).
• Ensure bids are submitted in a sealed envelope, bearing the bidder's name, bid number, and description, to the designated address.

Skills Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Relevant experience and technical expertise in civil engineering, road grading, surfacing, and sports facility construction.
• Capability to meet CIDB grading requirements and deliver projects within specified timelines.
• Ability to provide security services as per the scope of work.
• Understanding of procurement and bid submission procedures.
