The primary objective is to secure a reliable service provider for the timely supply and delivery of essential maintenance and construction materials to the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality. The procurement aims to support municipal operations while ensuring strict compliance with supply chain management policies and the Preferential Procurement Regulation of 2022, which utilizes the 80/20 system to advance socio-economic transformation.
The tender covers the supply and delivery of seven categories of industrial and workshop consumables across specified quantities. The scope includes fulfilling order requirements, providing physical samples within 72 hours upon request, and maintaining quoted prices for a minimum of thirty days. All submissions must be completed electronically; faxed documents will be rejected. Award is conditional upon successful registration on the municipality’s official supplier database and acceptance of the General Conditions of Tender and Conditions of Purchase.
