The primary objective is to procure comprehensive project management training for seven public sector employees of the Johannesburg Tourism Company. The programme aims to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to plan, implement, monitor, and successfully deliver projects in alignment with government governance frameworks, procurement legislation, and organisational strategic objectives.
The service encompasses a structured classroom workshop delivered through interactive methods, including practical case studies, group activities, and workplace-based assignments. The curriculum focuses on core project lifecycle management, emphasising accountability, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, performance reporting, and effective project execution. Deliverables include accredited training materials, expert facilitation, and post-training workplace application support to ensure measurable competency development.
80/20 Preference Point System: Evaluations allocate 80 points to price competitiveness and 20 points to designated socioeconomic goals (e.g., enterprises owned by black people, women, youth, or persons with disabilities, businesses located within the City of Johannesburg jurisdiction, and SMMEs). Points require verified documentation such as CSD reports and BBBEE certificates.
Firm Pricing Clause: Quoted rates are legally binding and non-negotiable post-award, excluding only statutory tax adjustments. Omission of any pricing schedule item results in automatic disqualification.
Independent Bid Determination: Bidders must certify that the quotation was prepared independently without collusion, communication, or arrangement with competitors, in compliance with national competition and anti-corruption legislation.
Disqualification Triggers: Automatic rejection applies for false declarations, outstanding municipal debt exceeding ninety days, prior convictions for fraud or corruption, listing on the National Treasury Register for Tender Defaulters, or failure to comply with mandatory returnable documents.

Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.
Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements
To assist companies with finding tender partners and subcontractors, you can now submit your contact details and company information on this page, so other interested parties can contact you for purposes of forming Joint Ventures and subcontracting
You will need to supply your details on every tender you are interested in tendering for. For this you need an active Business Listing - Register and Login at My Account to create a Business Listing
