Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite qualified service providers to submit bids for various infrastructure upgrading projects and security services within Molemole Local Municipality. The projects include upgrading of streets, stormwater control, tennis courts, sports facility phases, and provision of security services, aiming to improve local infrastructure and safety.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Upgrading of internal streets and grading from gravel to surfacing or higher standards in Sefene, Madiehe, and Morebeng.
• Stormwater control works in Sefene.
• Construction and grading of Combi-Courts at Morebeng Tennis Court.
• Upgrading of Mogwadi Sports Facility Phase 2.
• Provision of security services for a period of six months.

Each project has specific locations, technical specifications, and evaluation criteria outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the projects include:

• Compliance with CIDB grading requirements (minimum 6CE or 4CE depending on the project).
• Adherence to the points system evaluation criteria, with a minimum qualifying score of 80% for functionality.
• Specific project requirements such as grading of streets, stormwater control, and construction of tennis courts and sports facilities.
• Provision of security services must meet the specified standards for a six-month period.

All bidders must meet the technical specifications and evaluation criteria to qualify for the award.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from bidders include:

• CIDB grading certification appropriate to each project (e.g., 6CE, 7CE, 4CE).
• Relevant experience in infrastructure upgrading, road grading, stormwater control, sports facility construction, or security services.
• Ability to meet the technical and quality standards specified in the tender documents.
• Capacity to deliver projects within the stipulated timelines and budget.
