The University of Pretoria (UP) invites qualified and experienced service providers to submit proposals for the provision of professional services to conduct a comprehensive Asset Management Gap Analysis. The objective is to assess the current state of UP’s infrastructure asset management practices and determine the interventions required to achieve full alignment with SANS ISO 55001 and the DHET Macro-Infrastructure Framework (MIF). This engagement will support the University in progressing toward a fully integrated, standardised, and sustainable asset management system for infrastructure.

    • Project Lead with over 10 years’ experience, registered with SAFMA as an AFP, or with a master’s degree in engineering or property-related studies, and registered with ECSA.
    • Condition assessment team members with valid professional registrations (e.g., Pr.Eng, Pr.Tech.Eng, Pr.QS) and relevant experience.
    • Valuation professionals with over 5 years’ experience, registered with recognized bodies such as SACPVP or ASA.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate data collection, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
  • Experience in reviewing and assessing IT systems related to asset management.
  • Capability to develop comprehensive reports, strategic plans, and improvement roadmaps.
