PRINCE ALBERT LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW WATER TREATMENT PACKAGE
PLANT FOR WELGEMOED-NORTH AND NEWTON PARK, LEEU GAMKA
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4ME or higher.
Only tenderers who are registered with the CIDB, in a contractor grading designation equal to or higher than a contractor grading
designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25 (1B) or 25 (7A)
of the Construction Industry Development Regulations for a 4 ME class of building construction work are eligible to have their tenders
evaluated. are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R500.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Tender documents must be reserved at least 48 hours prior to the date of the compulsory clarification meeting at the consulting
engineer (SMEC South Africa) Tender documents will be available at a non-refundable cost of R 500.00 (VAT Included), payable in
cash at the cashiers at the Prince Albert Municipality’s Financial Division, Thusong Centre, Adderley Street, Prince Albert 6930 or
electronic funds transfer (EFT) deposit in favour of the Prince Albert Municipality ABSA Bank, Account number 2640-5600-64

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at VIRTUAL on 14 November 2023 starting at
11h00.
An additional compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Water Treatment Package Plant,
Leeu-Gamka, 6950 on 17 November 2023 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 13h30 on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
