UMGENI-UTHUKELA WATER INVITES TENDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE IMVUTSHANE GAUGING WEIR
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 7CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 7CE
Only tenderers who a)The tenderer completed the Bidders Disclosure Form (T2.2.2)
b)Tenderers are required to achieve at least 35% Contract Participation Goals (CPG) including a minimum 25% enterprises from
uMngeni-uThukela Water area of operations participation and 10% for Local participation of the value of goods, services and Works
paid to one or more targeted enterprises in compliance with uMngeni-uThukela Water’s B-BBEE Policy which stipulates that Contract
Participation Goals for targeted enterprises will be included for all bids above R 5 000 000.00 excluding VAT Contingencies and
Contract Price Adjustment.
c)The Tenderer must have a CIDB grading of 7CE or higher, provide CIDB CRS number.
d)Contracts Manager Qualification – A Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering or any other Built Environment Diploma
e)Site Agent – A Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering.
f)Safety Officer registered with SACPCMP as a construction Health and Safety Officer
are eligible to submit tenders.

October 2025 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
