NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS DURBAN INVITES TENDERS FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR OF ALL
AIRCONDITIONING FOR THE PERIOD OF THREE (3) MONTHS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 1ME OR HIGHER
Only tenderers who Submit SBD 3.1 - Pricing Schedule: Firm Price - Fully Completed.
Submit their employed Technician: Submission of CV, and Certified Qualification recognized by South African Qualifications Authority
(SAQA) or other relevant institute: National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Proof of Registration as a HVAC Technician (Card
or Certificate required).
Or
Bidding company who Submit their employed Artisan (Mechanical): Submission of CV, Certified Trade Test and Proof of Registration
with SAQCC (Card or Certificate required). (Subject to verification).
Submit Proof of past experience and successful completion of similar projects must be included in the form of Award Letter or an Order
with the value above R 175 000.00 and a Completion letter or Certificate.
The Department will not appoint a bidder that has been awarded a service or contract of similar service or nature within the NDPWI –
(Durban Regional Office) running con-currently (advertised in October 2025) for equity and fair distribution of work amongst services
providers.
