DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WESTERN CAPE INVITES TENDERS FOR ENG7003-2026 SWELLENDAM HOSPITAL: SUPPLY,
INSTALL AND COMMISSION OF A 50KW HEAT PUMPS AT SWELLENDAM HOSPITAL
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Please note:
1. Tenderers are required to have a CIDB grading of 1ME or higher (Grade 1: Mechanical Engineering Works) .
2. Tenderers need to be compliant and registered on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank, CSD and on
ePS; Tenderers need to be compliant with the above and tax-compliant with SARS at close of tender.
3. Prices shall be submitted electronically on ePS.
4. Tenderers need to be represented by one employer/member (to accommodate interested Tenderers) at
the “compulsory site meeting” on the date and time stipulated.
5. Tenderers not present at the site meeting will not be eligible to tender.
6. Tenderers must print the attached tender document, inclusive of the BOQ and specifications and bring it to
the site meeting.
7. Tenderers to have a registered office and workshop within the Western Cape.
8. Tenderers to have SAQCC – B6 Airconditioning Practitioner in their employ and registered in their company
name.
9. Tenderers who arrive late at the compulsory site meeting will be disqualified.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Swellendam Hospital parking at entrance to
hospital, Swellendam hospital, 18 Drostdy Street, Swellendam, 6740 on 06 August 2026 starting at 11h00.

The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
