Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supplier capable of providing and delivering concrete rings to the Clanwilliam Technical Department, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and compliance with procurement policies.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of specific concrete products such as interlocking manhole rings, slabs, and lids to the Clanwilliam Technical Department, with delivery address at De Villiers Street, Clanwilliam. The delivery lead time is specified as 7 days after receipt of the purchase order.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of 1000mm x 250mm interlocking joint manhole rings (dolomitic weight 142kg/MH)
• Supply of 1000mm x 500mm interlocking joint manhole rings (dolomitic weight 283kg/MH)
• Supply of 1000mm concrete slabs (heavy duty, dolomitic weight 282kg)
• Supply of 560mm heavy-duty dolomite lids (weight 71kg/lid)
• All products must meet specified weight and quality standards, suitable for municipal infrastructure use.
• Products must be delivered within 7 days of order confirmation.
• All items must be supplied in accordance with the specifications and standards provided in the tender documents.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing or supplying concrete infrastructure products.
• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Ability to provide compliant documentation such as tax clearance certificates, B-BBEE certificates, and relevant declarations.
• Capacity to deliver quality products within the specified timeframe.
• Knowledge of municipal procurement policies and compliance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
• Ability to complete and submit all required bid documentation accurately and in accordance with instructions.
