Bids are hereby invited for the Supply and Delivery of  Production Inputs for Citrus Farms in Raymond Mhlaba  Local Municipality under Mechanization and Inputs Supply Programme

Completed bid documents are to be placed in a sealed envelope endorsed "RE-ADVERTISEMENT SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PRODUCTION INPUTS FOR CITRUS FARMS IN RAYMOND MHLABA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY UNDER MECHANIZATION AND INPUTS PROGRAMME : BID No. 8/2/109/2025-2026(R)–AMATHOLE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY" must be deposited in the Bid Box, at the offices of the Amathole District Municipality, Ground Floor, 15 Rees Street, Quigney, East London, 5201, not later than 11h00 on Thursday,24th June 2026, at which time the bids will be opened in public.

 

PREFERENTIAL PROCUREMENT POLICY FRAMEWORK ACT (PPPFA) POINTS WILL BE AWARDED AS FOLLOWS:

 

            Price                            -           80 points

            Specific Goals               -           20 points

            Black Youth                  -             7 points

            Black Women                -             7 points

            People with disabilities  -             3 points

            Military Veterans           -             3 points

            TOTAL                                    100 points

 

BIDDERS SHALL TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING BID CONDITIONS:

 

[a]        The Amathole District Municipality Supply Chain Management Policy will apply.

[b]        The Amathole District Municipality does not bind itself to accept the highest point scorer or any other quotation and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the quotation;

[c]        Bids which are late, incomplete, unsigned or submitted by facsimile or electronically, will not be accepted.

[d]        Price(s) quoted must be valid for at least thirty (30) days from date of your offer.

[e]        Price(s) quoted must be firm and must specify whether inclusive of VAT (if a VAT vendor).

[f]         For all transactions your tax reference number/pin at SARS must be furnished.

[g]        Successful bidders will be required to register as a supplier/service provider on the National            Treasury’s Central Supplier Database, if not already registered
