Tender Summary: Refurbishment of Swimming Pool Filtration System

Objectives

To refurbish and modernise the swimming pool filtration system at the Department of Defence facility, ensuring reliable water circulation, improved hygiene standards, and full operational compliance through the replacement of obsolete equipment and restoration of ancillary infrastructure.

Scope of Work

• Remove all old and unused piping.
• Excavate trenches 1.5 metres deep for new pipe installation and backfill/compact trenches upon completion.
• Supply and install industrial-grade Speck pool pumps.
• Supply and connect independent suction lines from pool weirs to the filtration unit.
• Supply and install all required fittings, valves, and piping.
• Drill and structurally repair the pump house wall to accommodate suction line entry.
• Supply and fit Speck filter fingers, filter lid screws, washers, lid seals, multi-port seals, and multi-port valves.
• Repair damaged pool paving, supply pool vacuum pipes, and conduct thorough cleaning of the pool area upon project handover.

Technical Requirements

• CIDB Contractor Grading: Tenderers must hold a minimum Construction Industry Development Board grading of 1SO or 1GB, or higher.
• Preference Points: Additional scoring awarded to contractors who are Central Supplier Database (CSD) approved, fully tax compliant, and CIDB registered with a valid Certificate of Compliance.
• Submission Compliance: Tenders must strictly utilise the official documentation package. Late submissions will be automatically rejected. Attendance at a mandatory clarification meeting is required to receive the tender pack.
