Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a suitable service provider to remove household goods from Komani to Uitenhage in accordance with the specifications set by the Eastern Cape Department of Public Works and Infrastructure. The contract aims to ensure the safe, efficient, and industry-standard packaging, removal, and transportation of specified household items within the stipulated timeframe.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Packaging, wrapping, and removal of household goods from No. 22 PRD Camp, Kings Park, Komani.
• Transporting the household items to No. 1 Hanke Place, Veins, Uitenhage.
• Items involved include a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, stove with wall unit, hob with wall unit, extractor fan, lawn mower, beds, wine cabinet, and household equipment in boxes.
• The delivery deadline is set for 31 May 2026.

Technical Requirements

The successful bidder must adhere to the following technical standards:

• Package and wrap household goods securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Transport goods safely and efficiently from the specified origin to destination.
• Meet industry standards and accreditation where applicable.
• Ensure timely delivery as per the specified date.
• Provide all necessary packaging, labor, and transportation services required for the move.
