The primary objective is to safely decommission and remove two existing air conditioning units and replace them with two new 12,000 BTU air conditioners, ensuring compliant supply, delivery, and professional installation in accordance with municipal standards.
CIDB Grading 1ME: Refers to the Construction Industry Development Board’s grading system for Mechanical Engineering works at Grade 1. This denotes that the contractor must have foundational financial, operational, and technical capacity to execute small-scale mechanical installations.
BBBEE Level 1: Stands for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Level 1. This is a South African procurement preference category that awards the highest scoring advantage to businesses meeting specific ownership, management, and socio-economic development criteria.
12,000 BTU Rating: British Thermal Units per hour. This specifies the cooling capacity required for each new unit, generally suitable for medium-sized rooms or offices.
