PERISHABLE PRODUCTS EXPORT CONTROL BOARD INVITES TENDERS FOR COMPULSORY BRIEFING SESSION
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 3GB or higher. 2GB Potentially Emerging Enterprises who satisfy
criteria stated in the Tender Data may submit Tender offers.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Bidders in the areas of Gauteng.
Only tenderers who a)are not under restrictions or has principals who are not under restriction to participate in PPECB’s procurement
due to corrupt or fraudulent practices;
b)They or any of its principals is not listed on the register of Tender Defaulters in terms of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt
Activities Act of 2004 as a person prohibited from doing business with the public sector;
c)does have the legal capacity to enter into the contract;
d)are not insolvent, in receivership, bankrupt or being wound up, has his affairs administered by a court or a judicial officer, has
suspended his business activities, or is subject to legal proceedings in respect of the foregoing;
e)comply with the legal requirements stated in the PPECB’s procurement policy;
f)can demonstrate that he/she possesses the necessary professional and technical qualifications and competent, financial resources,
equipment and other physical facilities, managerial capability, personnel, experience and reputation to perform the contract;
g)can provide proof that he/she is in good standing with respect to duties, taxes, levies and contributions required in terms of legislation
applicable to the work in the contract.
Only those Tenderers whose registration with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is current at the time of the
submission of the tender, in any class of construction works with contractor-grading 2 or higher defined in the Regulations (July 2015),
in terms of the CIDB Act No 38 of 2000, are eligible to submit tenders for this contract. are eligible to submit tenders.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Block B,Unit 4, 119 Gerhard Street, Centurion,
Gauteng, 0157 on 24 April 2025 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 16h00 on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
