DUBE TRADEPORT CORPORATION INVITES TENDERS FOR DTPC HEREBY INVITES PROPOSALS FOR THE SUPPLY AND
INSTALLATION OF GREENHOUSE TUNNELS AND SHED-NET STRUCTURE FOR 4 CO-OPERATIVE FARMS IN KZN.
THE WORK INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
•THE DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND EQUIPPING OF 9 TUNNELS COMPLETE WITH FERTIGATION SYSTEM AT
ASEMBO, KHONAMANJE AND DUMEYA FARMS (I.E. 3 TUNNELS PER FARM).
•SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND EQUIPPING A 0.5HA SHADE-NET STRUCTURE COMPLETE WITH FERTIGATION SYSTEM AT
ADEL BEAU FARM.
•THE PROVISION OF ASSOCIATED SERVICES INCLUDING WATER MAINLINES, FERTIGATION MIXING TANKS AND
ELECTRICAL WORKS.
NB* THE FOUR CO-OPERATIVE FARMS ARE LOCATED AT NYONI, MANDENI, MARIANHILL AND RICHMOND.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 3SH or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who It is estimated that tenderers must have an active CIDB contractor grading designation of
CIDB grading of 3SH or higher by the closing date of the bid. No PE status is allowed (CIDB grading 2SH PE will not be acceptable).
Only tenderers who It is estimated that tenderers must have an active CIDB contractor grading designation of CIDB grading of 3SH or
higher by the closing date of the bid. are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R250.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
REQUESTS FOR DOCUMENTS & ENQUIRIES
Bid documents will only be available via email from 3 MAY 2023 up to 11 MAY 2023 during the weekdays (Mon – Fri) between 08h30
and 16h00. A non-refundable document fee of R250.00 (Two hundred and fifty rands) must be paid via EFT and must be emailed in
order for the Bid Documents to be sent via email. No cash will be accepted and proof of payment must be emailed to
[email protected] Please allow 2 days for funds to reflect in the account. DTPC will only release documents once the
payment has been cleared in its bank account. Payments must contain the reference, “DTP/RFP/26/AGZ/01/2023” and must clearly
identify the Bidder, e.g. “ABC Consortium”. Electronic versions of these documents will only be available on confirmation and/or proof of
payment.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Virtual via Microsoft Teams on 12 May 2023
starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, June 2, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
