Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to convert two CSIR Executive Boardrooms into fully functional Microsoft Teams Rooms, enabling seamless virtual collaboration and communication.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Upgrading and installing Microsoft Teams Rooms technology in two designated boardrooms.
• Provision of necessary hardware and software components to support Microsoft Teams integration.
• Designing and implementing neat and unobtrusive cabinetry (if required) to house equipment, with clear indication of cabinet placement in the design.
• Ensuring that all cabling and installation work is neatly concealed and integrated into the room interiors.
• Adhering to specific specifications and clarifications provided during the briefing session, such as non-drilling of tables and movable table configurations.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Installation of Microsoft Teams Rooms hardware and software in both boardrooms.
• Provision of cabinetry to host equipment, if required, with installation that is neat, obscure, and integrated into the room design.
• Clear indication of cabinet positioning in the design documentation.
• Compliance with the specifications outlined in Annexure B1, including any updates or amendments.
• Respect for the briefing clarifications, such as the ability to move the Cheetah Boardroom table sideways and restrictions on drilling the table.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• Expertise in audiovisual and conferencing technology installation, specifically Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions.
• Experience in designing and implementing integrated room systems with neat and concealed cabling solutions.
• Capability to provide custom cabinetry or housing solutions for AV equipment, ensuring aesthetic and functional integration.
• Technical proficiency to interpret and adhere to detailed specifications and amendments provided in the tender documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with CSIR’s requirements and clarify technical queries during the implementation process.
