Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply protective clothing and related items to the ICT Department of Cederberg Municipality. The aim is to ensure the department is equipped with suitable, high-quality protective gear that meets specified technical standards, within a stipulated delivery timeframe, and in compliance with procurement policies.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various protective clothing items and accessories, including:

• Softshell Tactical Jackets (Black, sizes Small and 2XL)
• Utility Pants (Size 28)
• Pique Knit Golf Shirts Long Sleeve (Sizes Small and 2XL)
• Raincoats (Sizes Small and 2XL)
• Boiler Suit (Size Small)

All items must adhere to the detailed specifications provided, including branding with the Cederberg Municipality logo, and must be delivered within 7 days of order receipt.

Softshell Tactical Jacket (Black)

Pique Knit Golf Shirt Long Sleeve

• Material: 175g Poly Cotton pique knit (65% polyester, 35% cotton)
• Design: Two-ridge collar, three-button placket, double-needle hem and sleeve finish
• Features: Anti-pill finish, inner self-fabric tape, no pockets
• Size: Small and 2XL

Raincoat

• Material: Navy rubberised fabric
• Features: Silver reflective tape, fixed hood with drawstring, storm flap, water-resistant

Boiler Suit

• Material: 100% cotton, 300/320gsm, flame retardant fabric
• Features: Silver reflective tape, YKK concealed brass zips, multiple pockets (breast, hip, side tool, back hip), elasticated cuffs, protection against flash fires and chemical spills

Skills and Technical Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying high-quality protective clothing and gear
• Ability to meet detailed technical specifications for each item
• Capacity to produce or source items with specified branding (logos)
• Compliance with safety standards, including waterproofing, flame retardancy, and reflective features
• Capability to deliver within 7 days from order confirmation
• Provision of clear photographs of each quoted item
• Adherence to procurement policies, including registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Ability to provide proof of compliance with B-BBEE and tax clearance requirements
