NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS DURBAN INVITES TENDERS FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR OF ALL AIRCONDITIONING FOR THE PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 1 ME or Higher
Only tenderers who A) Only Those tenderers who satisfy the eligibility criteria stated in the Tender Data may submit tenders.
B) Tender Offer must be properly received on the tender closing date and time specified on the invitation, completed either
electronically (if issued in electronic format), or by writing legibly in non-erasable ink. (All as per Standard Conditions of Tender).
C) Use of correction fluid is prohibited.
D) The Tenderer shall submit his fully priced Bills of Quantities/ Document (Complete document inclusive of all parts) together with his
tender
E) Submission of SBD 3.1- Pricing Schedule: Firm Price- Fully Completed
F) Bidding company to submit their employed Technician: Submission of CV, Certified Qualification recognised by South African
Qualifications Authority (SAQA) or other relevant institutes: National Diploma or Higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or
Diploma in air-conditioning & Refrigeration and proof of Registration as HVAC Technician: (Qualification and Proof of SAQCC
Registration Gas Card). Or Bidding company to submit their employed Artisan (Mechanical/ Refrigeration Mechanic/Airconditioning &
Refrigeration): Submission of CV Certified Trade Test Certificate and Proof of Registration. (Certificate and Proof of SAQCC
Registration Gas Card)
G) Submission of Proof of past experience and successful completion of similar Project., must be included in the form of Award Letter
or an Order with the value above R250 000.00 and Completion Letters or Certificate.
H) The Department will not appoint a bidder that has been awarded 2 or more contracts or services of similar service or nature within
the NDPWI- (Durban Regional office) running co-currently (advertised from October 2025 to January 2026) for equity and fair
distribution of work amongst service providers.
I)Bidder to conduct site inspection for detail overview of what exactly to be done on Site. Site Inspection or Visit Control Form to be
completed as proof of Inspection.
