NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS DURBAN INVITES TENDERS FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR OF ALL AIRCONDITIONING FOR THE PERIOD OF (03) THREE MONTHS.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 1 ME or Higher
Only tenderers who Submit SBD 3.1 - Pricing Schedule: Firm Price - Fully Completed.
Submit their employed Technician: Submission of CV, Certified Qualification recognised by South African Qualifications Authority
(SAQA) or other relevant institutes: National Diploma or Higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Air conditioning
& Refrigeration and Proof of Registration as a HVAC Technician :(Qualification and proof of SAQCC Registration Gas Card).
Or
Bidding company who Submit their employed Artisan (Mechanical/Refrigeration Mechanic/ Air conditioning & Refrigeration):
Submission of CV, Certified Trade Test and Proof of Registration (Certificate and proof of SAQCC Registration Gas Card).
Submit Proof of past experience and successful completion of similar projects must be included in the form two (02) of Award Letters or
an Orders with the value above R 250 000.00 and a Completion letters or Certificates.
The Department will not appoint a bidder that has been awarded 02 or more contract or of similar service or similar nature within the
NDPWI – (Durban Regional Office) running con-currently (advertised & awarded between October 2025 to January 2026) for equity and
fair distribution of work amongst services providers.
Bidder to conduct site inspection for detailed overview of what exactly to be done on site.Site inspection or Site Visit Control Form to be
Completed, Stamped and Signed by Client Department as proof of inspection conducted.
