Objectives

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Supply and delivery of specified agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, water tanks, garden tools, and related gardening materials as detailed in the specifications.
• Provision of confirmation letters demonstrating previous similar work conducted.
• Commitment to deliver within specified timeframes, with delivery commitments ranging from 7 to 21 days.
• Adherence to local procurement policies, including sourcing locally produced or manufactured goods.
• Evaluation of bidders based on functionality, price, and preferential goals, including local residency and BBBEE status.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of agricultural inputs as per the detailed specifications, including quantities and unit prices for items such as seeds, shade nets, fertilizers, pesticides, water tanks, hoses, and tools.
• Submission of confirmation letters from previous clients verifying similar work conducted, with a minimum of two letters required.
• Delivery of goods within specified timeframes, with preference given to bidders committed to delivery within 7 days.
• Compliance with local content requirements, ensuring all goods are locally produced or manufactured.
• Submission of all required documentation, including tax clearance, business registration, BBBEE certificates, proof of municipal payments, and proof of residence for directors.
