Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and installation of metering and quality of supply monitoring devices in 11kV switching stations within Bergrivier Municipality. The aim is to enhance the municipality's ability to monitor and manage electrical supply quality and metering accuracy across its infrastructure, ensuring reliable service delivery over a multi-year contract period ending on 30 June 2028.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply of metering and supply quality monitoring devices suitable for 11kV switching stations.
• Installation of the supplied devices in designated 11kV switching stations within Bergrivier Municipality.
• Provision of all necessary technical and logistical support to ensure proper functioning of the installed systems.
• Completion of the project within the specified multi-year contract period ending 30 June 2028.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Devices must be suitable for installation in 11kV switching stations.
• Devices should facilitate accurate metering and quality of supply monitoring.
• Bidder must demonstrate capability to supply equipment meeting the required standards and specifications.
• All equipment must be compliant with relevant electrical and safety standards.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• Competence and experience in electrical metering and monitoring device installation.
• A CIDB grading of 3EP or higher, with valid proof of registration at the time of submission.
• Technical expertise in handling electrical infrastructure projects, particularly in high-voltage switching stations.
• Capacity to provide technical support and after-sales service throughout the contract duration.
• Ability to adhere to safety standards and project timelines.
