DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WESTERN CAPE INVITES TENDERS FOR SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF AIRCONDITIONING
EQUIPMENT INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF AIRCONDITIONING UNITS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 2ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Please note:
1.Tenderers are required to have a CIDB grading of 2ME or higher (Grade 2: Mechanical Engineering Works) .
2.Tenderers need to be compliant and registered on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank, CSD and on ePS; Tenderers need to
be compliant with the above and tax-compliant with SARS at close of tender.
3.Prices shall be submitted electronically on ePS.
4.Tenderers need to be represented by one employer/member (to accommodate interested Tenderers) at the “compulsory site meeting”
on the date and time stipulated.
5.Tenderers not present at the site meeting will not be eligible to tender.
6.Tenderers must print the attached tender document, inclusive of the BOQ and specifications and bring it to the site meeting.
7.ePS Commodity: 2ME or higher (Grade 2: Mechanical Engineering Works) .
8.Tenderers to have a registered office and workshop within 300km from Symphony Way CDC.
9.Copy of the SAQCC Authorized Practitioner Card of a practitioner who is registered as a Category B6 Practitioner, authorized to
install and maintain refrigeration systems, who is within the employment of the Tendering company and registered in the company’s
name
10.Tenderers who arrive late at the compulsory site meeting will be disqualified.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at SYMPHONY WAY CDC DELFT,
SILVERSANDS, CAPE TOWN, 7100 on 07 July 2026 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivering, opening and assessment of Tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
