KOU-KAMMA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR REPLACEMENT OF SMALL - BORE SEWERS SYSTEM TO FULL
WATERBORNE SYSTEM AT CLARKSON
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 4CE or higher
Only tenderers who 1.Experience in Projects
-The bidder must have a minimum of 3 completed projects relevant to the current scope with a value of 3 million or above.
2.Key Personnel
-1x Contract Manager must have at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering and be registered with Pr. Eng, Pr. Tech. Eng, Pr. Techni or Pr.
CM with 10 years of relevant experience.
-1x Site Agent must have at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering and be registered with Pr. Eng, Pr. Tech. Eng, Pr. Techni or Pr. CM
and 10 years of relevant experience.
-1x Site Foreman must have a matric certificate, plumbing certificate and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
-1x Health and Safety Officer must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, plus relevant qualification and must be registered with
PrCHSO, PrCHSM, or and SACPCMP.
3.Plant and Equipment
-The bidder must have a 1x TLB, 1x Excavator, 1x 6m3 Tipper Truck, 1x Ton LDV, 1x Grader, 1x Water Truck and 10-Ton Drum Roller.
-The bidder may own or lease the plant and equipment.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R350.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at KOUKAMMA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
LIBRARY, 05 KEET STREET, KAREEDOUW, 6400 on 21 February 2025 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
