Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage experienced service provider(s) to deliver comprehensive waste collection and removal services within Mogale City Local Municipality. This includes the provision of trucks and related resources to ensure effective waste management in specified areas for a period of thirty-six (36) months.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Provision of waste collection and removal services in designated areas of Mogale City.
• Supply of trucks and necessary equipment for waste collection.
• Execution of services over a contractual period of 36 months.
• Participation in compulsory briefing sessions and adherence to evaluation criteria.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Attendance at a compulsory briefing session scheduled for 03 February 2026 at 11:00am.
• Submission of all mandatory and essential documents, including signed municipal bidding documents, declarations, and proof of registration.
• Verification of municipal rates, taxes, or service charges, or valid lease/rental agreements if property ownership is not held.
• Compliance with the evaluation criteria, including minimum scores in functionality phases.
• Adherence to tender submission procedures, including proper sealing, addressing, and submission of original bid documents.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications expected from bidders include:

• Proven experience in waste collection and management services.
• Capability to supply and operate trucks suitable for waste removal.
• Ability to meet technical and administrative documentation requirements.
• Understanding of municipal service delivery standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Capacity to adhere to evaluation criteria related to functionality, price, and specific goals such as youth and gender enterprise participation.
