Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for the supply and delivery of South African Flags in various sizes to Umgeni Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, in accordance with specified standards and requirements. Technical Requirements

• Supply of South African Flags in three sizes:
  • Small: 150cm x 90cm, weighing under 150g, polyester with metal grommets.
  • Large: 360cm x 540cm, weighing under 1kg, breathable mesh polyester with bunting material, rope & toggle.
  • Big Size: unspecified size but must meet detailed specifications including size and fabric standards.
• All flags must comply with South African Flag colours and be SABS approved.
• Materials used should be durable polyester or suitable outdoor fabric.
• Packaging and labeling must meet specified standards, including single units or appropriate packaging.
• Samples may be required for quality verification.
• Delivery must be timely, with specified delivery periods and proper documentation.

Skills Requirements

• Understanding of procurement procedures and legislative compliance, including the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and Regulations 2022.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and ensure product compliance with SABS standards.
• Experience in supply chain management, logistics, and timely delivery.
