Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver South African Flags in various sizes to Umgeni Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The procurement aims to ensure the hospital has adequate flags for official and decorative purposes, complying with specified standards and specifications.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of different sizes of South African Flags, namely small, large, and big sizes, as detailed in the specifications. The delivery is to be made once off to Umgeni Hospital, with adherence to technical and quality standards outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of South African Flags in three sizes: Small (150cm x 90cm), Large (360cm x 540cm), and Big (unspecified size but with detailed specifications).
• Flags must be made from durable polyester fabric, specifically 115 g/m2 breathable mesh polyester for outdoor use.
• Flags must conform to South African flag colours and be SABS approved.
• Small Flags: Size L150cm x W90cm, weighs under 150g, with metal grommets for hanging.
• Large Flags: Size 360cm x 540cm, weighs under 1kg, with SAPS approved bunting material, rope, and toggle.
• Big Flags: As per detailed specifications, including size, colour, and material, with SABS approval.
• All flags must meet the specified quality standards and be compliant with attached annexure specifications.
• Delivery to be completed within the specified contract period, which is once off.
