Objectives

The primary objective is to procure a qualified service provider for the supply, delivery, installation, and ongoing maintenance of computer-aided design (CAD) software licensed for two users within the Harry Gwala District Municipality’s technical team.

Scope

The software solution must encompass the following functional capabilities:

• 2D drafting and annotation
• 3D modelling and visualization
• Parametric design capabilities
• Industry-specific toolsets
• Automation and productivity tools
• Complete drawing detailing up to final print-ready and reporting stages

Technical Requirements

Requirements focus on software licensing, feature compliance, and administrative validation rather than hardware specifications. Bidders must submit firm, VAT-inclusive pricing aligned strictly with the specified features. Mandatory technical and administrative submissions include:

• Completion of all prescribed Municipal Bidding Documents (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9)
