The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to deliver cleaning services at various offices within the Amathole District, including Mbashe Area Office, Elliotdale Service Office, and other specified district offices. The contract duration is twelve (12) months, aiming to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across all designated facilities.
The scope encompasses providing comprehensive cleaning services at multiple offices within the Amathole District. Specific offices include:
The services include general cleaning and maintenance to ensure a hygienic environment at each location for the duration of the contract.
The successful service provider must meet the minimum specifications outlined in the RFQ documentation, which includes adherence to specified cleaning standards, use of appropriate cleaning materials and equipment, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The RFQ documents, available from 04 June 2026 on the Departmental website, detail these technical specifications and the required SBD forms.
All completed RFQ submissions must be sealed, clearly marked with the RFQ number and service description, and deposited into the designated tender box at the Department of Social Development, Absa Building, East London, by 11H00 on the closing date. Late, telegraphic, or faxed submissions will not be accepted.
