Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage a qualified Boys Camp Master/Facilitator to lead and manage a Boys Camp aimed at promoting gender equality, improving mental health among boys, and reducing gender-based violence (GBV). The facilitator will create a safe, engaging, and empowering environment focusing on personal development, leadership, and life skills, while also educating participants on environmental stewardship, climate change, and substance abuse.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Managing boys’ discipline during the camp scheduled from 5th to 7th December 2025 at West Coast National Park/Geelbek, Western Cape.
• Facilitating sessions on mental health, gender sensitivity, GBV, substance abuse, and environmental awareness.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the camp.
• Providing a detailed report and recommendations post-camp.

The services are to be delivered over a three-day period, with the facilitator responsible for creating an impactful and educational experience for the participants.

Technical Requirements

• Experience in leading youth camps or similar programs.
• Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for boys.
• Knowledge of gender sensitivity, GBV, mental health, and environmental issues.
• Capability to facilitate discussions on substance abuse and climate change.
• Provision of a comprehensive report with recommendations after the camp.
