Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage a qualified service provider to carry out major and minor maintenance services to the Medical Gas Plant at Niemeyer Memorial Hospital. The work aims to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and compliance of the hospital's medical gas systems.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Performing major and minor services on the Medical Gas Plant equipment.
• Servicing oxygen, medical air, and nitrous oxide manifolds (x 3).
• Servicing vacuum pumps (x 2).
• Servicing the medical air compressor.
• Checking and maintaining all medical gas wall points in wards.
• Replacing digital oxygen gauges with analog RHOMBERG gauges (x 4) and analog medical air gauges (x 2).
• Minor service to be completed no later than 15 January 2027.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• Qualified personnel with registration with SAQCC Gas: Medical Gases Industrial.
• Provision of both major and minor services as detailed in the specifications.
• Adherence to the detailed specifications, including size, color, and material standards for equipment.
• Compliance with relevant standards and quality specifications.
• Proper documentation, including service reports and replacement gauges.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must possess:

• Registered and certified personnel with SAQCC Gas: Medical Gases Industrial qualification.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining medical gas systems in healthcare facilities.
• Ability to perform both major and minor maintenance tasks as per technical specifications.
• Knowledge of hospital safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Capability to provide timely service and documentation as required.
