Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver high-security Clearview fences and related materials for the Heidelberg Raw Water Pump Station, ensuring compliance with technical standards and security requirements specified by the municipality.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of fencing materials, including posts, panels, and accessories as specified.
• Delivery of fencing materials to Heidelberg, Western Cape.
• Supply of a dummy sample of the proposed fencing panel for approval.
• Adherence to relevant standards such as CSIR and SABS specifications.
• Provision of certificates of compliance, shop drawings, and supporting documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the fencing include:

• High-security Clearview fencing with accessories such as shark tooth spikes.
• Materials must meet CSIR and SABS standards, including specific test requirements.
• Fencing panels and posts must be supplied in specified dimensions, with a dummy sample provided for approval.
• Delivery must be completed within the specified delivery period, with prices inclusive of VAT.
• All materials must be compliant with the relevant standards and certified accordingly.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

Prospective bidders must demonstrate:

• Experience in supplying high-security fencing materials and installations.
• Ability to provide certified compliance certificates for materials and coatings.
