Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to conduct particle count tests in Theatre 1 and 2 at Umphumulo Hospital. The tests aim to assess the cleanliness and air quality within the operating theatres, with results to be forwarded to the hospital's chief artisan. The tests are to be performed bi-annually, with two tests conducted six months apart, and a report on the air-handling filtration system's condition, including recommendations, must be attached.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Performing two particle count tests in Theatre 1 and 2 at Umphumulo Hospital.
• Conducting the tests six months apart.
• Providing detailed reports on the air filtration system's status and recommendations.
• Ensuring tests are carried out in accordance with specified standards (SABS, SANS).
• Delivering test results for each theatre to the hospital's designated authority.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• The particle count tests must be conducted twice, six months apart, in Theatre 1 and 2.
• Test results must be forwarded to the hospital's chief artisan.
• A report on the air-handling filtration system's condition, including recommendations, must be attached with each test report.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:
