Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to select a suitable service provider to carry out repairs of a faulty distribution board (DB) box at the Izingolweni Magistrate Court, which is causing electricity trips. The aim is to ensure the electrical system's reliability and safety by addressing the identified fault.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Repair of the faulty DB box at Izingolweni Magistrate Court.
• Ensuring the electrical system functions correctly without tripping issues.
• Compliance with all relevant safety and technical standards during the repair process.

Note: There will be no site briefing for clarification of the scope of works. Any technical queries should be directed to the designated project contact.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database.
• CIDB grading of 1 EB or higher.
• Submission of a letter of good standing (COIDA) certified by the Commissioner of Oath.
• Valid Wireman's license issued by the Department of Labour for the owner, company, or employee performing the work.
• Artisan certification copy certified by the Commissioner of Oath for the owner, company, or employee involved in the work.

All bids must adhere to the requirements specified in PA:16 and comply with the PPPFA Regulations 2022 for scoring and evaluation.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Qualified electrical skills, including certified artisans and licensed wiremen.
• Experience in electrical repairs, specifically related to distribution boards and fault rectification.
• Ability to comply with safety standards and regulations during execution.
