Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the repair and maintenance of all air-conditioning units at the Hluhluwe Home Affairs office. The contract duration is three (3) months, and the aim is to ensure the air-conditioning systems are functional and well-maintained throughout this period.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of service and repair for all air-conditioning units at the Hluhluwe Home Affairs location.
• Completion of all necessary maintenance activities within the specified three-month period.
• Submission of qualified technicians or artisans with relevant experience and certifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender are as follows:

• Bidder must have an active CIDB registration grading of 1ME or higher.
• Submission of a fully completed and signed SBD-3.1 Pricing Schedule with firm prices.
• Provision of CVs, certified qualifications, and proof of registration with SAQCC for employed technicians or artisans.
• Proof of past experience and successful completion of similar air-conditioning repair projects.
• Compliance with PPPFA regulations, with points allocated accordingly.
• Adherence to the department’s procurement and submission guidelines, including no use of correction fluid on forms.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from bidders include:

• Qualified technicians or artisans with relevant experience in air-conditioning repair and maintenance.
• Certified qualifications and proof of registration with SAQCC (e.g., cards or certificates).
• Demonstrated experience in similar projects, supported by references or past project documentation.
