Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to obtain quotations from qualified service providers for the determination of provision for the landfill site GRAP 19 disclosure, ensuring compliance with municipal and environmental standards.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Conducting the determination of provision for the landfill site GRAP 19 disclosure.
• Providing related documentation and certifications as specified in the tender requirements.
• Ensuring environmental and municipal compliance through relevant qualifications and experience.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service providers include:

• Submission of a valid company registration certificate showing shareholder details (e.g., CK1, CK2).
• Provision of a valid Tax Clearance or PIN.
• Submission of a CSD Full Report.
• Joint Venture agreement (if applicable).
• Proof of municipal rates and taxes or lease agreement with proof of rates and taxes.
• Completion and signing of MBD forms 4, 8, and 9.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database with attached confirmation.
• Proof of similar work done for at least three municipalities, including certified orders or appointment letters.
• Environmentalist qualifications: certified copies of ID and Diploma in Environmental Management or relevant qualification.
• Membership evidence of the Institute of Waste Management of South Africa.
• In case of a Joint Venture, a JV agreement must be attached.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from service providers include:

• Environmental expertise, demonstrated through relevant diplomas or qualifications.
• Experience in municipal landfill site assessments and disclosures.
• Ability to provide certified documentation and proof of similar projects.
• Knowledge of environmental management standards and municipal compliance procedures.
• Registration and compliance with the Central Supplier Database.
