Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Event Management Services through a closed quote process, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of events for KwaDukuza Municipality.

Scope

The scope encompasses providing comprehensive event management services as specified by the KwaDukuza Municipality. This includes delivering services that meet the municipality's requirements for various events, adhering to the guidelines and evaluation criteria outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Submission of sealed quotes endorsed with "CQ 4204/05 EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES".
• Payment of R32.00 (VAT inclusive) for tender documents, payable via cash or EFT at the specified Municipal Finance Directorate address.
• Quotes must be submitted in sealed envelopes and placed in the designated Closed Quote Box by 12h00 on 20th May 2026.
• Late, electronic, or faxed submissions will not be accepted.
• Proof of municipal service payments or exemption (e.g., municipal bills, affidavits, or letters from landlords or ward councillors) must be included.
• Bid evaluation will verify information against the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Preference points will be awarded to qualifying Black-owned Enterprises (at least 51% ownership).
• Screening of prospective bidders will be conducted via the National Treasury’s Defaulters Database.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Proof of compliance with municipal rates, electricity, and service payments or exemption documentation.
• Demonstrated experience or capacity in event management services.
• Compliance with ownership and enterprise status criteria, specifically for Affirmable Business Enterprises (ABEs).
• Ability to provide relevant proof and documentation as required for evaluation and verification purposes.
• No bids from persons in the services of any organ of state will be considered.
