Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to deliver cleaning services at the Fouriesburg Magistrate Office for a period of 36 months. The contract aims to ensure the maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene standards within the premises over the specified period.

Scope

The scope of work includes comprehensive cleaning services at the Fouriesburg Magistrate Office, covering all designated areas such as offices, meeting rooms, hallways, toilets, kitchens, parking areas, and other specified spaces. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, cleaning materials, and related services necessary to maintain the premises in a clean and hygienic condition for the duration of the contract.

The contract also encompasses specialized cleaning tasks, provision of safety and cleaning equipment, and adherence to health and safety regulations as specified in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of cleaning services over a 36-month period with specified service times (Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:30 or as arranged).
• Supply of all necessary cleaning equipment, tools, and consumables, including disinfectants, detergents, and safety gear.
• Adherence to specified cleaning standards, including dusting, window cleaning, floor maintenance, toilet sanitation, and waste removal as detailed in the specifications.
• Implementation of health and safety measures, including risk assessments, safety signage, PPE, and compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Monitoring and reporting of service levels, including submission of inspection lists, attendance registers, and compliance documentation.
• Compliance with security, confidentiality, and confidentiality protocols during service delivery.
• Participation in site inspections and adherence to the specified service times and procedures.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in providing cleaning services in similar government or institutional environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OHS Act and related standards.
• Ability to supply and operate cleaning machinery and equipment, including high-rise window cleaning tools if applicable.
• Competence in managing cleaning staff, including team leaders with relevant experience.
• Capability to implement and monitor quality control measures and service level agreements.
• Understanding of environmental and safety standards, including waste management and chemical handling.
• Proficiency in record-keeping, reporting, and compliance documentation as required by the contract.
