Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure gauge calibration services for an air receiver located on the 13th floor of the grain elevator at TPT East London. Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Conducting gauge calibration on the specified air receiver with a capacity of 1000 litres, serial number 20970, situated at the Grain Elevator – 13th floor.
• Performing pressure testing and necessary repairs if required.
• Preparing detailed reports reflecting the calibration process and results.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during the execution of work.

Additional scope details specify that the contractor must follow hazard identification, risk assessments, and adhere to TPT SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, Quality) requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Carrying out hazard identification and risk assessments in accordance with Construction Regulation of 2014, Regulation 9(1)-(7).
• Performing detailed, project-specific Task-Based Risk Assessments, reviewed and approved by the Client’s Health and Safety and Technical Managers.
• Utilizing competent personnel to facilitate risk assessments, including site management, supervisory staff, technical experts, and workforce members directly involved in the task.
• Providing all necessary tools, equipment, and resources to complete the calibration and pressure testing effectively.
• Ensuring all work is completed within the agreed timeframe, with the contractor responsible for repairing any damages caused during the process.
• Submitting all required documentation, including hazard assessments, risk management procedures, and compliance certificates.
