Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure four (4) buses to transport attendees to the mayoral imbizo at Impala Park Sports Grounds scheduled for the 27th of August 2026.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the supply and delivery of four buses that meet the specified requirements to facilitate transportation for the event. The service provider must ensure timely delivery and provide vehicles suitable for mass transportation on the specified date.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of four (4) buses capable of transporting large groups.
• Delivery of buses to the specified location (3 Nyala Street, Phalaborwa) by the agreed deadline.
• Provision of buses that are compliant with relevant safety and operational standards.
• Indication of a firm delivery period in the quotation.
• Valid tax clearance PIN and registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Completion of the MBD4 (Declaration of Interest) form.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• The service provider must be registered with the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• The provider should demonstrate compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000.
• Evaluation will consider the ownership structure, specifically:
  • 20 points for 100% Black-owned businesses.
  • 18 points for businesses with at least 51% Black ownership.
  • 14 points for businesses with less than 51% Black ownership.
• Ability to provide competitive pricing and meet delivery deadlines.
