Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the internal collection and removal of waste at St Andrews Hospital, ensuring proper waste management and compliance with health and safety standards.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of waste collection and removal services within the hospital premises, covering all necessary logistics, handling, and disposal processes as specified in the tender documentation. It encompasses the supply of hardware materials related to waste management as detailed in the annexure.

Technical Requirements

• Adherence to the specifications outlined in the attached annexure, including the supply of hardware materials such as valves, pipes, toilet seats, manhole covers, taps, lighting, and electrical fittings.
• Compliance with the standards specified in the bidding documents and specifications.
• Provision of samples if required, for inspection and testing.
• Submission of detailed documentation including ownership certificates, BBBEE certificates, and CSD compliance reports.
• Delivery of goods and services within the stipulated timeframes, with proper packing and insurance.
• Implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to waste collection and disposal.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Knowledge of waste management procedures and health regulations.
• Technical expertise in handling and installing hardware materials related to waste management infrastructure.
