Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure pest control services for JCPZ depots, ensuring effective management and eradication of pests such as rats and mice, through specified internal and external treatments across various sites.

Scope

The scope includes providing pest control services at multiple JCPZ locations, including depots, cemeteries, gardens, and other facilities, with specified frequencies (mainly quarterly and bi-annual treatments). The services encompass spraying, baiting, and installation of bait stations, with specific requirements for internal and external pest management at each site.

• Provision of pest control for designated sites listed in the specifications.
• Installation of new bait stations at the winning bidder’s cost.
• Adherence to specified treatment frequencies and site-specific requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Completion of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Specification Certificates for pest control (both commercial and domestic).
• Provision of valid certificates such as COIDA from the Department of Labour, joint venture agreements (if applicable), and regulatory compliance documents.
• Installation of bait stations as per site size and location specifications.
• Adherence to the specified treatment frequencies and methods, including internal and external baiting and spraying.
• Submission of completed MBD forms (MBD 1, 3, 4, 6.1, 8, 9) along with quotations.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Service providers must demonstrate:

• Experience in pest control services, evidenced by completion of relevant BOQ and certification.
• Compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including valid COIDA certificates and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Ability to install and maintain bait stations and execute pest control treatments effectively.
• Understanding of health and safety standards related to pest control operations.
• Capacity to respond within specified timelines, especially for urgent requests or site-specific needs.
