Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Bid Committee Training services for the Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ). The training aims to enhance the knowledge, roles, responsibilities, and operational effectiveness of municipal and public sector staff involved in bid specification, evaluation, and adjudication processes. Successful completion will result in delegates receiving Certificates of Attendance, thereby improving governance and compliance within the procurement framework.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Training 35 candidates from the Bid Committee over a 2-day virtual online course.
• The training will focus on accredited unit standard-aligned courses related to municipal governance and bid processes.
• Provision of accreditation, registration, or recognition proof from relevant Quality Councils, SETAs, or professional bodies.
• Post-training issuance of Certificates of Attendance to all delegates.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• The training provider must be accredited, registered, or recognized by a relevant Quality Council, SETA, or professional body.
• The training must be delivered virtually (online) over a period of 2 days.
• The training content must align with accredited unit standards focusing on governance, roles, responsibilities, and operational effectiveness of Bid Specification, Evaluation, and Adjudication Committees.
• Provision of proof of accreditation or recognition with the quotation submission.
• Issuance of Certificates of Attendance upon successful completion.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Accreditation, registration, or recognition by relevant Quality Councils, SETAs, or professional bodies.
• Experience in delivering municipal or public sector governance training, specifically related to bid committees.
• Ability to deliver training virtually using online platforms.
• Capability to provide proof of accreditation and recognition.
