Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure branding collateral for the regions A to G, ensuring effective visual representation and branding consistency across specified regions. The project aims to enhance the visibility and branding presence of Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo through the provision of branded outdoor structures and related materials.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and branding of outdoor gazebos with waterproof, UV-protected, branded walls, and aluminium frames, as specified in the terms of reference. The items are intended for outdoor use, handling elements such as sun, wind, and rain, and must include carry bags for portability. The project covers the full procurement process from quotation submission to delivery at the designated locations.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of waterproof, UV-protected branded gazebos with four 20kg weights per gazebo.
• Branded aluminium frames with a size of 4 meters assembled.
• Use of weather and tear-resistant materials, including 100% Polyester Bannerweave, single-sided branding, and closed sides.
• Inclusion of carry bags for transportation.
• Items must be suitable for outdoor elements such as sun, wind, and rain.
• All items must meet the specifications outlined in the Bill of Quantities and Terms of Reference.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Proof of residence (latest municipal statement not older than three months) or valid lease agreement.
• Valid COIDA Certificate from the Department of Labour (Letter of Good Standing).
• For joint ventures, a signed JV agreement detailing contributions, participation percentages, management structure, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provision of CSD vendor number.
• Completion of all relevant procurement forms including MBD 1, MBD 3, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, and MBD 9.
• Compliance with tax and SARS registration requirements, including submission of TCS PIN or proof of registration.
• Understanding of procurement regulations and ability to meet delivery timelines.
• Experience in providing branded outdoor structures and related branding collateral is desirable.
