Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver cleaning materials to Region G of Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ). The initiative aims to ensure the availability of quality cleaning supplies to support the operational needs of the region, promote service excellence, and uphold the organization's commitment to environmental sustainability and ethical standards.

Scope

This tender covers the supply and delivery of specific cleaning materials, including:

• 48’s toilet paper (2-ply, Nova, purple plastic)
• Sunlight bar soap (500g)
• Protex Antigerm Soap (8x12x150g bundle pack)

The procurement process is limited to bidders who are already appointed on the panel of service providers for stationery, consumables, cleaning materials, and refreshments under reference JCPZ/BS04/2023. Delivery must be completed before official order confirmation, and submissions are restricted to designated collection points due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Completion of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) / Specification
• Provision of valid municipal statements not older than three months or valid lease agreements within the jurisdiction
• Submission of a valid COIDA Certificate (Letter of Good Standing)
• Submission of a signed Joint Venture agreement if applicable
• Compliance with evaluation criteria, including passing previous stages and providing all regulatory documentation
• Adherence to delivery timelines, with services must be prepared or delivered before official orders are received

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Experience in supplying cleaning materials and related consumables
• Knowledge of municipal and regulatory compliance standards
• Ability to meet quality specifications and delivery deadlines
• Provision of valid tax clearance certificates and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Understanding of procurement evaluation criteria, including preference points and compliance documentation
• Capacity to respond within specified response times (seven days from request)
