Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver a lounge suit (4-seater), double beds, and side tables to Greytown Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The procurement aims to fulfill the hospital's needs for domestic furniture that meets specified standards and specifications.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of:

• 28 units of lounge suits (4-seater)
• 28 double beds (137cm)
• 28 side tables

The delivery must be made to Greytown Hospital, with the supply and delivery to be completed as a once-off contract. The procurement process involves collection of quotations, submission via official forms, and adherence to specified technical and administrative requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Items must conform to the specifications outlined in Annexure A, including size, color, material, and quality standards (SABS).
• Items must be new, unused, and of the most recent models with all recent design improvements.
• Samples may be required for inspection and testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Items must be packed appropriately to prevent damage during transit and comply with special packaging and marking instructions.
• Delivery must include all necessary documentation and be made in accordance with the specified delivery terms.
• Items must meet the quality standards set by SABS.

The successful bidder must demonstrate:
