Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the installation of burglar-proofing (burglar bars), window and door security measures, and gate motor installations at the Lusikisiki Police Station, including associated electrical, metalwork, paving, and related works to enhance security and infrastructure compliance.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Installation of burglar gates and gate motors, including associated metalwork, electrical works, paving, and preliminaries.
• Provision of all materials, labor, and services necessary for the complete execution of the security installation works as specified.
• Adherence to technical specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements as detailed in the tender documents and contract data.
• Compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project duration.

Technical Requirements

• Installation of galvanised steel burglar gates, including swing gates, sliding gates, and associated locks and fixings.
• Electrical installation of gate motors (e.g., Centurion D10 or approved equivalent), intercom systems, conduit, and cabling.
• Paving of specified areas with 80mm thick paver bricks, including removal and re-use of existing paving.
• Provision of electrical works including conduit laying, cabling, and terminations.
• Metalwork fabrication and installation, including burglar bars and wall mounting fixings.
• Provision of all necessary preliminaries, safety measures, and compliance documentation.
• Adherence to the detailed scope of work, drawings, and specifications provided in the tender documentation.

• Qualified and experienced metalworkers for fabricating and installing burglar bars and gates.
• Licensed electricians for electrical installations, including gate motors and intercom systems.
• Skilled paving contractors for laying and re-laying paving bricks as specified.
